This collection of folk tales, stories and myths told in comic book format by some of the biggest names in comic book history contains never before seen interpretations of ancient tales, including some rare work from legends like Will Eisner, Art Spiegelman, Harvey Pekar, Joe Kubert, and Robert Crumb. The stories within these pages range from spiritual, to supernatural, to humorous, to tales of wisdom, adventure and discovery. Some of the tales told here have been published as far back as the 1940s from artists all over the world, alongside incredible new talents whose work has been created exclusively for this volume. Other contributors include Tony DeZuniga, Adam Gorham, Joe Infumari, Yaakov Kirschen, Clifford Meth, Michael Netzer, Trina Robbins, Sharon Rudahl, and Andy Stanleigh.
