Originally from England, Tess is an oncology/palliative care registered nurse and a university academic, living in Sydney, Australia. She has three incredible children and a patient husband, all of whom inspire her in her everyday life as well as in her writing. Social justice, equality and acceptance are important concepts that should be introduced to children in their early years and Tess has achieved this through a charming story that can be enjoyed by all. Tess, together with her daughter Zoe, has published The Big Wall Feeling, an adventure story for children exploring similar themes as their next book, Just Like Me.

Zoe is an investigative visual storyteller working out of Vietnam. She works with text, photography and illustrations both as a freelance investigative journalist reporting for some of the biggest international media companies, and for MODMO, an e-bike company with a vision to create the bike to replace your car. Zoe shares Tess’ belief in introducing children to issues of social justice, equality and acceptance, having grown up with the same strong values in her own family.
