A good account of history is vital for preservation of facts and truths just as the making of good laws and its enforcement are essential for the maintenance of peace and order in any society. Mindful of the role that religion played in the events that have led to wars, and also its role in securing peace, a grand effort has been made in LAW, CHRISTIANITY, AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM to bring to the surface how the freedom to individual right to religious belief and practice under international human rights law was achieved, and why it is essential for the courts in various national jurisdictions to respect the individual's freedom to exercise and enjoy such rights.
