Our story began in 2004 at the Art Institute of Houston's orientation. As single mothers, we bonded quickly and realized that we had the same goal of wanting to provide a better future for our children. We both graduated with honors. Our love for food, cooking, and baking has blossomed over the years. Tragic loss and encouragement from family motivated us to share the lighter side of some of our recipes, which are inspired by family, and by our different heritages. Book jacket.
