Make-up artist Loelle Abrams is a pro at contouring and transforming lives with the stroke of her brush. However, after suffering a violent assault, Loelle finds it difficult to see past the scars and nightmares to change her own life. She takes an extended vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico to nurse her physical wounds and begin her emotional journey toward recovery. But when she tosses the man who was arranged to give her a ride from the airport over her shoulder, Loelle realizes that her days in sunny Puerto Rico were going to be far from peaceful.




Prosecuting Attorney Joaquin Gutierrez is determined to rid the world of corruption and evil, and his savior complex pushes him to take risks that put his life in danger. In the midst of rescuing victims from human trafficking, he agrees to help his friend out and play host to a young woman vacationing in San Juan. Loelle ignites the protector within and a passion that he fights hard to deny. Joaquin pushes himself to keep her safe at all costs.
