Manz Dem is a musical project carried out by 15 of the most important African/Caribbean/Duel Heritage guitarists. They have made some of the most important contributions to the British Music Industry. This book collects their lives and pictures, their amazing careers through their own eyes and words.
Derrick Wallace was born in Edgbaston Birmingham. He studied Jazz Guitar at Goldsmiths University London and completed his BMus (Hons) at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
He graduated with a MA (Music) from the University of Wolverhampton. Previously, he has worked as a professional guitarist and clinician.
His main interests, apart from writing, are: playing chess, entrepreneurship and listening to all genres of music.
