This book explores migration and integration challenges seen around the world. Through initially examining international migration before the pandemic, empirically based research provides insight into the current state of migration, regional and national responses to migration, and the opportunities and challenges to integration. Particular attention is given to forced migration, discrimination towards migrants, social inclusion, the impact of migration on the welfare state, attempts to control migration, and how COVID-19 has effected migration trends.
