My children learned from this book, and now that I'm teaching, I thought I would buy a new copy. Some good learning pieces are included, though some wouldn't appeal to the now-a -day students , with the out of date lyrics. As a teacher,I prefer clear uncomplicated pages, probably without all the theory 'clutter', which I can add to lessons as I choose. ( I can understand that if you were learning by yourself, this theory would be useful.) I supplement the material quite a bit.
