A mysterious tribe, a forbidden romance, and a surrendered child who struggles to survive in modern day society




The Shadow People have had no contact with the outside world for hundreds of years and they wish to keep it that way.




If one leaves the tribe he or she is not allowed to return. Blue Flower, daughter of the chief, breaks this sacred rule and makes contact with another tribe in North Idaho. While there, Blue Flower falls in love with a native who is on leave from the Marine Corps. Their passionate relationship results in the birth of a child.




Blue Flower's father, the chief, issues an ultimatum that only she can stay, alone, with her tribe, or she can take the child and live among the Coeur d'Alene people. A tragic event forces the Shadow people to unleash their mystical power in retribution to right an unforgivable wrong.
