Robert Yen has taught at the selective Hurlstone Agricultural High School and at Eagle Vale and Ambarvale high schools in southwest Sydney.

He conducts workshops for HSC students, writes and presents regularly for MANSW and has co-edited its journal, Reflections. He now works for Cengage Learning as an associate publisher and series editor.

Gaspare Carrozza is head teacher of mathematics at Homebush Boys High School and was head teacher at South Sydney High School.

He has conducted inservices in both mathematics and computing, with a particular interest in the professional development of teachers. He has been involved in HSC and School Certificate marking and trial HSC exam writing.

Judy Binns is a Mathematics Coordinator and experienced author.

She has an interest in motivating students with learning difficulties, and has taught senior applied mathematics courses.
