Mark Sperring

Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children's book author.

Mark is the author of The Shape of My Heart (Bloomsbury), Captain Buckleboots on the Naughty Step (Puffin) and The Sunflower Sword (Andersen). He lives in Bristol.

Ed Eaves

Ed Eaves's use of colour and appealing animal characters make his work wonderfully child-friendly. As well as his collaborations with Ian Whybrow on Say Hello to the Snowy Animals!, and Say Goodnight to the Sleepy Animals!, he is also the illustrator of wonderful novelty books including Science Museum: Touch-and-Feel Cars and Science Museum: Touch-and-Feel Planes.
