Stella Gurney has worked in children's publishing as both a copywriter and an editor and now writes full time. Stella Gurney is a children’s author and editor who has published over fifty books for children.

Her nonfiction titles include Architecture According to Pigeons (Phaidon Press), Stone Age Boy with Satoshi Kitamura (Walker Books) and The Prehistoric Times.

Liz Million says illustrating (and also writing) books for children is her dream job. She studied Illustration at Kingston University and now lives in Darlington, where she grew up, with her husband and nine-year old son. Her comic style is a perfect accompaniment to Paul's poems.
