The curse has been broken. The Unseelie queen defeated. Nothing stands in the way of Lainey and Phoenix and their rule over Unseelie as newly crowned king and queen. Or so Lainey thought.

A dark force seems to have taken over the Unseelie King. Phoenix is growing increasingly more erratic, his behavior nothing like the man with whom Lainey had fallen in love or the friend with whom Ash trusted his life.

With the bond between Lainey and Phoenix slowly unraveling, Lainey returns to the human realm for her safety, while Ash remains in Faerie in search of answers. Both must place their trust in the most unlikely of sources.
