Worldwide Insertion of Mechanized Personnel
My name's Axe Malone. You can call me a robot if you want to, but I prefer the term mechanized person. Mechie, for short. I'm only twelve inches tall, but I can do all kinds of cool stuff. Thanks to a little thing called artificial intelligence, I can even think. I might even be able to save the planet, but I'm going to need some help.
That's where Jake comes in.
He's twelve, and he doesn't give much thought to the action figure-me-Uncle Zeb sent him for Christmas. In fact, he tosses me in a drawer and pretty much forgets about me until the first day of summer vacation.
Then he starts thinking about me a lot.
Especially when he and his best friend go to Uncle Zeb's for a visit, and I start walking and talking on my own.
It soon becomes apparent that Uncle Zeb is in big trouble, and that Jake and his friend are in big trouble, and that the whole WORLD might be in big trouble, and that I might represent the only chance of ever getting things back to normal.
But will I be able to do it?
I guess we'll just have to see how it goes. It's not going to be easy, I can tell you that...
