Michaela Morgan

Michaela Morgan is a long-established children's author with a string of bestselling titles to her name, including the Rockets quartet, Silly Sausage.

She has been shortlisted for the Children's Book of the Year, been an International Reading Association Children's Choice and won a United Kingdom Reading Association award.

Malachy Doyle

Malachy Doyle worked in advertising and as a teacher for children with special needs before writing children's books. He is the author of more than seventy books for children. Malachy Doyle lives in Ireland on a tiny island off the coast of Donegal, where he works full-time as a children's author.

Malachy's picture book Owen and the Mountain was a runner-up for the Children's Book Award. Malachy also writes award-winning fiction, including Georgie and Who Is Jesse Flood?

Jill Atkins

Escaped teacher, now writing for children with 46 books published so far, ranging from early reading material to teenage novels. I've written 4 books for Franklin Watts, 4 for Wayland and one for Hodder.

I'm married with two grown up children and five grandchildren, no pets, though I used to have three beautiful cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. When I was a child, we kept chickens and I loved them, too.

I always have my nose in a book. I read both adult's and children's books. My favourite children's books include The Railway Children by E Nesbit, Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson, River on the Say by Philippa Pearce. My adult reading varies from Charles Dickens to many modern authors. I enjoy listening to music, classical, jazz and some pop.

Jane Clarke

Jane is the author of over 70 books for young children, including the award-winning Gilbert the Great series and Stuck in the Mud. She's also a children's poet, so she's thrilled to bits to have three new rhyming picture books with Nosy Crow. Jane enjoys visiting nurseries and primary schools, and loves animals, country walks, fossil hunts, meeting up with her sons and their families in the UK and USA, and having fun with her grandchildren.

Narinder Dhami

Narinder Dhami was born in Wolverhampton of an Indian father and English mother. She taught in primary schools for nine years but now writes full-time. Her other books include the novelisation of the film Bend It Like Beckham and the recently published Bindi Babes.
