Timothy Knapman

Timothy Knapman is a children's writer, lyricist and playwright.

His children's books have been translated into twelve languages and include Soon, illustrated by Patrick Benson, and the bestselling Mungo and the Picture Book Pirate series.

His titles have often been featured on CBeebies Bedtime Stories. He lives in Weybridge, Surrey.

Narinder Dhami

Narinder Dhami was born in Wolverhampton of an Indian father and English mother. She taught in primary schools for nine years but now writes full-time. Her other books include the novelisation of the film Bend It Like Beckham and the recently published Bindi Babes.

Elizabeth Laird

Elizabeth Laird is the multi-award-winning author of several much-loved children's books, including The Garbage King, Red Sky in the Morning and The Fastest Boy in the World. She has been shortlisted for the prestigious CILIP Carnegie Medal six times and her novel based on time spent in refugee camps in Jordan, Welcome to Nowhere, was the winner of the UKLA Award.
