I chose to write this book to bring awareness to real-life issues - the issues we face in relationships involving family members or close friends of the family that we trust. No abuse of any kind is ok. When you are stricken with fear, it tends to keep you bound. Now, I know enough about being bound to know that bondage is of the devil. The Lord, our God, says, "Whom the Son (Jesus) sets free, we are free indeed." I want people to experience the freedom of being set free. There is help out there if you want it. I want those of us who are free to keep on praying for those still bound, knowingly and unknowingly. One may have grown up in a dysfunctional environment and is unaware of its dysfunction. In their minds, their environment is normal if that's all they have been exposed to. I want us to be aware and not so quick to judge others when we don't know their story. One may say, "If that was me, I would do such and such." Well, the fact of the matter, Beloved, is that you are not them. We have to learn to be quiet about things we don't know and if you are a person of prayer, then pray. While we all may have an opinion, it is not always wise to express it. The book of Ecclesiastes talks about times and seasons. We must learn the time and season of the matter at hand. We can add more harm to a person who is already afflicted. There are many people who are broken, hurt and bleeding on one other. We can't help anyone if we are bleeding. We have access, not to just the hem of Jesus's garment, but to all of Him. We have direct access to Jesus. We don't have to push through the crowd. All we have to do is look to the hills and open our hearts and mouths to which all our help comes from, the Lord God almighty.

I want to encourage you to walk in your truth and process how you feel based on your own experience. Two or more people can

experience the same thing. However, how they process trauma will vary, and each outcome will be different. To this day, there are people who have made a conscious choice to keep quiet for whatever reason. So, more than likely, they will continue to be bound and struggle to have healthy relationships with others. Most people who have been victimized and don't get the appropriate counsel become victims to themselves - denying themselves the opportunity to be healed, loved, and to give love.
