Pivoine's had a pretty awesome start to life, growing up in the circus with lessons in acrobatics and lion taming. It's just too bad that now she's eleven, she's been sent to a 'proper' boarding school. At first Pivoine doesn't fit in at St Smithen's. But then an Ancient Egyptian ruby turns up - and sinister 'accidents' start to happen. Can Poppy save her new school from the pharaoh's curse?
