Learn how to communicate in Italian like a native speaker!

Practice Makes Perfect: Italian Conversation, Premium 2nd Edition teaches you how to speak Italian fluently and spontaneously. The book is filled with helpful instructions on correct pronunciation, grammar, syntax, and word usage. Each section includes a series of exercises that gives you extra practice in using new concepts and encourages you to construct personalized conversations. You'll also find valuable explanations of conversational "markers," elements of conversation that are often poorly understood because they lack exact equivalents in English.

You'll learn how to strike up a conversation, offer opinions, and describe people, places, and things. The exercises are supported by an audio answer key, available online and via the McGraw-Hill Language Lab app, that lets you compare yourself to a native-speaker.

Practice Makes Perfect: Italian Conversation, Premium 2nd Edition features:

* Engaging dialogues illustrating practical conversational situations
* Example phrases or sentences that clarify each point
* A variety of exercises for practice, with an answer key that provides instant feedback and reference
* Practical and high-frequency vocabulary
* Recordings of all 60 dialogues available online and via app
* Expert advice on overcoming common stumbling blocks to fluent speaking
