Tony Bradman

Tony Bradman has worked in children's books for over 30 years as a writer, a reviewer, and an editor of anthologies.

His books include the Dilly the Dinosaur picture-book series, which sold 2 million copies worldwide.Tony is lead author for Project X, OUP's reading scheme for boys up to Year 6.

He has been a judge for the Smarties Book Prize, Booktrust Teen Awards and is chair of the Siobhan Dowd Trust. Anglo-Saxon Boy is his second novel for Walker. He lives in Beckenham, Kent.

Isabel Thomas

Isabel Thomas studied Human Sciences at the University of Oxford.

She is a science writer and children's author who has been shortlisted for the Royal Society Young People's Book Prize, the ASE Science Book of the Year, and the Blue Peter Book Awards.

Isabel also writes for children's science magazine Whizz Pop Bang, and for science outreach projects. She is a primary school governor and STEM Ambassador.

Dave Gibbons

Dave Gibbons, a Will Eisner Hall of Fame nominee, is one of the most famous comic creators working today, with over 40 years experience, having worked for every major publisher in the US and UK. He is most famous for his collaborations with Alan Moore, including Watchmen, and was last year named Britain's first comics laureate.

Joe Todd Stanton

Joe Todd-Stanton grew up in Brighton, England, and was taught to draw by his mother, who is also an illustrator. He studied at UWE Bristol, receiving a first class degree in Illustration.

Todd-Stanton has been commissioned to work for clients such as Oxford University Press, Usborne Publishing, and Aquila magazine. His work has been highly praised and his book The Secret of Black Rock was longlisted for The C ILIP Kate Greenaway Medal 2018 and won a 2018 Waterstones Children's Book Prize.

Daniel Duncan

Daniel Duncan is a highly praised illustrator and the creator of the picture book South.

He lives near London.
