There is so much to love in this in this magical return to the world of Nevermoor! After facing the four perilous trials, our plucky heroine Morrigan Crow has finally been admitted to the prestigious Wundrous Society, only to discover that it isn’t quite the haven of acceptance and wonder that it promised to be. What’s more, fear is gathering over the city of Nevermoor as many of its citizens start to mysteriously disappear, and Morrigan finds that her courage will soon be tested in ways beyond her wildest dreams.
Wundersmith contains all of the mischief and mayhem of Nevermoor and loads more, making this a wondrous (or should that be Wundrous?) achievement for children’s fiction. If your kids haven’t discovered this enchanting series yet, then there’s no time like the present - this is a wonderful and worthy sequel to last year’s breakout hit!
