This will be your Public Speaking encyclopedia. Learn it, practice it and study it thoroughly. Then go out and do it. Learn what works and learn what does not. There are different genres of speaking touched on. Find the ones your good at. This has what you need to get going.

I was looking for practical suggestions on things I could do to improve my presentation skills. I am not a complete beginner, so I didn't want something too basic. I am not a great speaker, so I didn't want something too far above me either. Fortunately, I think this book offers information that any speaker can use. It is succinct and doesn't repeat, so despite its small size, it has a lot of information in it. I started doing some of the exercises right away and immediately began improving both my confidence and skill. It's a keeper!
