There is a king, a queen and a prince. The prince ends up trying to save his dog and falls down a well for 2 days. After that he becomes afraid of the dark.

Years go by and prince Quentin turns 16. King David tells him he must go and by the mayor of Atikokan. When David arrives he is still afraid of the dark. He then puts lights up in the Village of Atikokan and into the forest to help him not be afraid of the dark.

Prince Quentin steals the night. Monty "the Mushroom" and Patsy " The daisy" decides we must safe the night. Even though they're just a mushroom and a daisy they use their friendship and courage and meet many kind strangers along their journey to save the night.

The Prince learns how to use the power within himself to over come his fear of the dark and apologizes to the nocturnal plants and animals and those who love and need the dark and those who need and love the light celebrate all night,
