Since 1905 when the last pamphlet was published ten mem bers have died: Harold Poole H{untress, Winthrop Evarts Brown, Walter Livingston Cutting, Edward Winslow Stevens, Frederick Augustus Emerson, William Harold Millard, Leon ard Francis Nicoll, John Stringer Tilney, J r., Theodore Sedg wick Watson, and Charles Whitney Ward. This makes a total of twenty-eight deaths since we first came together in 1895. I have tried to include in this report a short story of the lives of those twenty-eight men written in each case by a member of the family. It has been impossible to make it complete, as I was unable to get track of relatives in some cases. I acknowledge most gratefully, the assistance I have received from the Har vard Alumni Association, and many classmates, in tracing men who had not kept me informed as to their whereabouts, and from many more who often write me about themselves. It isonly by the constant cooperation of all of you in this and other ways that we can, as the years go by, keep alive that Class Spirit for which '99 shall be forever famous.
