He placed in position the easy chair, with three exercise books to take the place of a missing castor. He fetched from his bedroom a glass and water-bottle. Then he removed the lower front of the ex-piano and took out from the interior a bottle of Scotch whisky good'whisky, but, of course, a thing prohibited.
