I would say that although it's pretty expensive, this hardback is worth getting this because these things soon go out of print, and if you are a Dune fanatic, you'll likely be paying even more in 5 years' time for a second-hand copy.

As with Blade Runner 2049, Tanya LaPointe has assembled a very well-crafted and polished product. The book is distinguished by:
1. Glossy digital storyboard images on most pages which are so veridical they are near-indistinguishable from movie stills;
2. Good explanation of the challenges involved in doing such a large production in several countries;
3. Great evolution-of-story background included unused costume designs or production design;

In short, it's ideal for any fan of the movie who keeps wondering "How did they do that?" or "How was that artistic decision made". I bought it for a friend: she was delighted.
