Vanessa has worked in financial services for the past 23 year. She started her own media production business at age 26, and for the past 18 years has been the telling the stories of the industry - with the goal of being the bridge between a technical industry and the end public, via her media business evolution media group (www.evolutionmediagroup.com.au)

10 years ago she launched No More Practice - which is now the largest video training portal for financial advisers.

With more than 25,000 subscribers to the community, Vanessa is passionate about getting financial advisers ready to help Australian consumers. 

She also has more than 15,000 subscribers to her consumer education site www.theinvestmentseries.com.au

Vanessa is launching her own microsite in addition to her professional sites in conjunction with the TV show, vanessastoykov.com which will offer book sales as part of a broader offer that will include celebrity podcasts.

She also has a mainstream TV show on channel 9 - the Investment Series, which is due for release in October this year. Last year the Investment Series attracted more than 1.7m viewers for the six part series (Neilson) and screened on both channel 9 and on digital channel GEM weekly.

The series also attracted a further 2.3m digital audience via online viewing and social/marketing outreach.

Vanessa is working with Professor Mark Brimble, from Griffith University, on a major research project on the outcomes of the intergenerational wealth transfer, and possible policy recommendations to government to come from it. This research is due to be launched in September 2017.
