Excerpt from The Chartularies Of Balmerino And Lindores The Secretary reported to the Council, that the chartulary or balmerino, ' (which, at the last Annual Meeting, was remitted to him as Editor, and ordered to the press, ) was nearly ready; and having sug gested the propriety of uniting with it the book OF lindores, ' which was of a similar extent, the Council approved of the suggestion, and desired the Secretary to have it transcribed, and to proceed with it immediately.
