This is an essential book that ever sewist should own at any level of expertise. Even though I am an advanced sewer who learnt to sew the industry way. I still need to check up on techniques new and old.

Elizabeth Haywood covers everything you need to know with hand-drawn diagrams which are easy to understand.

So many sewing books look great but do not deliver. This does.

Sadly, it is not well known as yet. Not in any bookstores that I have seen. I first saw it at my local library.

Best part it is written by an Australia woman!

Bravo to her.
