Eons later, encased in oil, the Entity is accidentally freed by Nigerian Muslim workman Tariq Adewale. The nigh-Immortal creature is loose upon the modern world, and its aims are unknown. Housed in the body of its ill-fated liberator, the Entity explores the world while seeking others like itself. It is governed by a unique set of rules. That which is without form, and wasn't created, therefore cannot be destroyed. Tariq's already difficult life spirals out of control as he gains new abilities out of the blue. There's also the matter of Tariq's lover, the curvaceous Saudi Arabian Muslim courtesan Afaf Al-Rahmani, and her enemies. In Saudi Arabia, Arab women who like Black men are just courting trouble. Nevertheless, Afaf's attraction to Tariq cannot be denied. Passions soar and clash in the world's most conservative nation.
