This is an open access book. The book will cover the governance of long term management of high level nuclear waste in 10 European countries (Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom). The book aims to provide a next step in the debate on state of the art long term management of high level nuclear waste in Europe. Most countries are in the process of planning and creating final storage solutions, while none has yet finalized this process. The book wants to provide lessons learned from a governance perspective.
