This book was conceived on a snowy afternoon chairlift ride in the winter of 2018. My niece Abrielle and nephew Devin and I had just finished a run down through the mogul field on the northwest side of the mountain. They had many questions about the area and some skiing cultures at the bottom of the mogul hill, making it difficult to explain on our ride up the chairlift.
