Rachel Elliot has been writing stories all her life, and her first book was published in 2004.

Since then she has written lots of books for children.

She works as a freelance writer and editor, and lives in Devon with her husband and two daughters.

Vicki Gausden loved reading as a child, and when she wasn't reading, she was drawing.

She kept drawing, and reading, and gained a BA in Illustration and an MA in design, leading to her career as an illustrator and author.

She lives on the edge of the South Downs with her two dogs, Roo and Bella.
