Felicity French lives in Surrey and works from home in her cosy studio. She studied illustration at the Arts University College Bournemouth and graduated in 2011. She has since pursued a freelance career illustrating children's books and creating greeting card designs. Felicity's illustrations are typically bright and colourful, often incorporating decorative patterned elements. Her unique style is a fusion of watercolour and black fine-line pen detail.

Richard Merritt was born and bred in North London, UK, where he now lives and works. He has been drawing for as long as he's been able to hold a pencil. After having graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art, and gaining a BA(Hons) in Illustration from Kingston University 2004, he has worked for a variety of clients, picking up an award from the prestigious Association of Illustrators along the way.

While Richard loves nothing more than splashing around with colourful inks, he has recently taken up writing to complement his drawing, with Little Hare Books (an imprint of Hardie Grant Egmont) providing the opportunity to release his first children's book, Take a Hike.

Felicity French has illustrated many colouring books for adults and children alike, including I Heart Colouring, Colour and Frame Nature, and more recently The Lion Nativity Colouring Book and Kids Unplugged Animal Adventures.

She loves to draw animals, birds and flowers and has a great passion for pattern, especially Scandi and Paisley design! She lives with her husband, John, and they have just moved into an old property in the countryside, so any spare time is spent doing DIY!
