This story describes a journey of the soul. Along the way I have met with fair measures of both joy and pleasure. But there came darkness as well; wrought in loss and emptiness, it led me into depression, addiction, and, finally, imprisonment. Ultimately, though, mine is a story of redemption and hope, found in the most unlikely of circumstances, of the courage that God gives me daily to conquer the past and live with passion and purpose.
