Julian Rothenstein

Julian Rothenstein has ink in his blood. He is the eldest child of the late printmaker Michael Rothenstein, and the grandchild of Sir William Rothenstein, the portrait painter who served as Britain's official war artist for both World Wars and director of the Royal College of Art.

Julian's uncle Sir John Rothenstein was Keeper and Director of the Tate Gallery. Before founding the Redstone Press, in 1986, Julian was previously art director of the 1970s art magazine Bananas. He lives and works in London.
