From throwing the perfect fastball to executing the perfect flip turn, there is more involved in our favorite sports than what we seen in highlights on TV. This book examines the scientific elements such as momentum, velocity, and potential energy that contribute to the success of sports' most renowned feats. The Full-Speed Sports series highlights the role science plays in specific aspects of the sports we love to watch and participate in.
