A Fable. After forty years as Sendor Master in a global Merchant fleet, a Skipper is still torn between his life at sea and life at home. In each, he dreams of his life in the other. At home for few days, he is offered a perfect voyage around Britain from Wales around Scotland and on to Amsterdam and back to Kent and cuts short his leave. However, this trip unexpectedly turns his dreams of love ashore to nightmares, which threaten to destroy his and his family's lives. The trip becomes symbolic for the historic voyage of humanity and its frequent graphic but unbelievable warnings of its end.
