Mark Millar

Mark Millar is the award-winning writer/ creator of Wanted and Kick-Ass and worked as an executive producer on their subsequent movie adaptations. He is also the Creative Consultant for 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles, overseeing their upcoming Marvel movies. His ten years at Marvel produced Civil War, the biggest-selling series of the decade, and The Ultimates, credited by screen-writer Zak Penn as his inspiration for The Avengers movie. The Ultimates was honoured by Time magazine as comic-book of the decade in their 2010 retrospective and has also been adapted into both animated features and video-games.

His Millarworld company has expanded in the last few years to include Kick-Ass 2, Hit-Girl, The Secret Service, Nemesis, War Heroes, American Jesus, Supercrooks and Superior. All of these creations are in various stages of production as blockbuster movies, Matthew Vaughn directing The Secret Service, Joe Carnahan directing Nemesis and Jeff Wadlow having just completed Kick-Ass 2.

In his native UK, he is editor and co-publisher of CLINT Magazine, CEO of television company Millarworld Productions and acts as an advisor on film to the Scottish government. In 2012, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Glasgow Caledonia University for his services to film and literature.

Dave Gibbons

Dave Gibbons, a Will Eisner Hall of Fame nominee, is one of the most famous comic creators working today, with over 40 years experience, having worked for every major publisher in the US and UK. He is most famous for his collaborations with Alan Moore, including Watchmen, and was last year named Britain's first comics laureate.
