Vicki Grant has published 14 critically acclaimed and award-winning novels in her native Canada. She was shortlisted for an Edgar award by the Mystery Writers of America, won major Canadian awards including the Ontario Library Teen Choice award, and declared 'best book' by the New York Public Library, Bank Street College, and The Canadian Children's Book Centre.

Eric Walters began writing as a way to get his fifth-grade students interested in reading and writing. A Member of the Order of Canada, he has now published more than 100 novels and picture books.

He is a tireless presenter, speaking to over 100,000 students per year in schools across the country. He lives in Guelph, Ontario.

Teresa Toten won the Governor General's Literary Award in Canada for The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B.
