Brita Granstrom

Brita Granstrom is an illustrator and painter whose children's books have won the Smarties/Nestle Silver Award, the English Association Picture Book Award five times, and have been shortlisted twice for the ALMA - the largest international children's book award in the world.

Many years ago Brita worked for the charity AMREF in Kenya and Uganda. That experience - and all the wildlife she saw on her travels - colours the witty artwork in Carnivorous Crocodile. Brita Granstrom lives in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
