In this novel, we will follow the story of Gabriel John Utterson, a legal practitioner that follows the case occurring to his old friend Dr. Henry Jekyll. Jekyll is an outwardly good, nice, and mild-mannered young man. Due to a split personality, he turns into Mr. Hyde: a cruel, self-indulgent, terrifying evil person that lacks any kind of empathy.

When transformed into Mr. Hyde, the man commits disproportionate crimes without remorse. He starts his string of violence by trampling a young girl that bumped into him to death. What starts as a manageable illness rapidly spirals out of control. Will Hyde be able to manage the dangers of his hidden self with a potion he concocted?

The book explores the inner demons every human has and fights with. This is a classic man versus self-exploration in the most engaging style that only Robert Louis Stevenson could create. Learn more about both Jekyll and Hyde, about how their illness developed, what sorts of crimes they commit, and find out if Dr. Jekyll can escape the evils of Mr. Hyde.
