This book was every bit as enjoyable as I remembered. I read it as a serial, a chapter at a time, to my seven year old grandson before gifting it to him to read by himself. The descriptions of the characters and events are wonderful.

My Year 3 students are thoroughly enjoying this book. It is our stimulus for our imaginative writing and we are having lots of fun with it.
