Grace is a vivacious young girl who believes nothing is better than being able to laugh, and in her innocence, wants to share her humor, happiness, and joy with everyone. Enter Mrs. Henderson who is not your typical teacher, she is a particularly strict teacher, she wants to convert the school into an efficient apparatus for discipline and totally obedient kids. So when little Johnny Buchanan, a shy kid, is nervous and shaking when he is called up to the board, the young girl sees it as her opportunity to help ease the tension in the classroom and...

The class erupts in laughter, she sees a happy smile on Johnny's face, and for a moment, the tension dissipates. But Mrs. Henderson is by no means amused and immediately gives Grace detention and tells her that:
