Senator George Hearst asks Major Neville Stryker to find out who's torching the taverns of Hearst's old girlfriend in Tahoe. On the way to Tahoe City, Stryker is badly injured and is nursed back to health by a beautiful Gypsy doctor and her attractive young daughter.
