This book is based on my life and some of the things that happened while growing up, which helped shape me to become the woman I am today. The conversations I had with my mother in this book are very personal and unfortunately, she did not live long enough to answer them for me. As you read and imagine the conversation with my mom and me, you are invited to consider one of or all the tips offered to help you as a mother or father raising your children, I am a survivor/warrior because of the strength and faith that my mother imparted in me during her short lifespan here on earth.

What Mommy needed to know is she taught me how to be strong and resilient. She taught me how to learn, lean, and depend on Jesus Christ. She taught me how to never give up or quit. There are so many things that I remember that Mother taught me and some I have forgotten. Nonetheless, I shall never forget the golden nuggets for today I am a Survivor and Thriver...
