William Black: The Apostle of Methodism in the Maritime Provinces of Canada was written by John Maclean in 1907. William Black was born in 1760 In Yorkshire, England. He traveled to Nova Scotia where he led a sinful life until one day he felt God in his life. He was disconsolate and wanted to die from guilt. God worked in his life and he was able to replace the guilt with the Grace of God. Black spent the rest of his life helping the people of Nova Scotia.
