  • A wonderful book!

    by on

This is a great book for a reader of average ability between 9 and 12 years old. It is useful to have read the first Stella Montgomery book, but not essential. A great balance of descriptive passages and action, with the pace increasing towards the end, encouraging the young reader to turn the next page until they have finished the story.

  • Story great - green ink print is atrocious

    by on

I loved the first Stella Montgomery mystery and had high hopes for this. However, I could not read the faint green ink at night and had to wait several weeks for the weekend to read it in daylight. Can't wait for the next in the series.
