The English Arabic Joke Book 1 is a collection of 100 jokes in easy English and is a great way for you to improve your knowledge of that language. All of the profits from this book will go to MSF - Médecins Sans Frontières - doing amazing work in Syria and many other places around the world.

So how does it work?

Jokes: On each page you have a joke in English. The jokes have been selected so that they are not too difficult and don’t rely on puns.

Vocabulary: If your English is not great, you can read the vocabulary at the bottom of the page before you start reading the joke.

Translation: If you want to check your understanding, there’s an Arabic translation on the following page.

Cartoons: Some amusing cartoons will help set the joke in context.

As Arabic is a right to left language we had to make screenshots of the text so that it can be displayed which is the reason for the slightly unusual display but we hope this won't affect your enjoyment of the book. It is not for complete beginners but as long as you have some basic English, you should be able to make progress.
