Grace James was an English writer of children's literature and a Japanese folklorist. Best known for collecting and retelling Japanese stories from folk tradition. Hana-Saka-JiJi by Grace James describes the story of good old couple living in peace and honesty. They have never complained, more over they had even a dog which they were fond of. Briefly saying family was faithful, good and clever. But one day they fortune suddenly gave them a hidden treasure, silver and gold and jewels stuffs. It is impossible to describe how they were glad, but next door to them lived another couple, not so good as first one, but envious and discontented. They were so angry and envious that they could get no pleasure by day nor rest at night. Will they manage to keep the treasure you will find out at the end of the story.
